I'm a software engineer in Brooklyn.

I got into this as the tech lead on a campaign. We were checking matching-funds eligibility by hand, redoing the math every time new donations came in, so I built something that just kept it up to date. A couple of other campaigns heard about it and wanted their own.

Around the same time I was stage managing indie theater, where the backstage setup was basically the same: a couple of people running a whole production off printouts and a group chat. So I started building there too. Nearly everything here grew out of those two worlds.

I build this way because I'm usually already in the room. I canvass on weekends, I stage manage sketch comedy and rallies, I organize alongside the people I'm building for. When something's about to fall over, I'm usually standing right next to it.

This summer I helped Eon Huntley and Jabari Brisport win in Bed-Stuy. Next up is a show in late August that I'm building a run sheet for.
